Windrush was first launched as "Border Viking" in 1968 and won many races in the North Atlantic since she was launched. Her sistership "Guia" (Giorgio Falk) won the 5th around the world Whitbread 73/74..

Renamed "Windrush" in 1973, she was involved and well positioned in Cowes week, the fastnet, Chanel race and Cowes Dinard.

The double planked mahogany hull was found to be in perfect condition, but the deck and interior are being completely restored.

The restoration will return the yacht to her original layout and specification.
